Can you convert my existing garage into an ADU?

In many cases, yes. Garage conversions are one of the most popular ADU types in Hawthorne and surrounding cities. We check setbacks, existing structure, and parking requirements, and then design a layout that works with your existing garage shell. We also upgrade the structure, insulation, plumbing, and electrical so it meets current code.

Do I need to move out of my home during construction?
